Simple HTML Tricks

It is very easy to make your text scroll across the screen as seen above.

1. After you have written your text, switch over to the Edit Html screen.

2. Put <*marquee> at the beginning of the text and <*/marquee> at the end of the text.

2a. Leave out the asterisks.

Would you like part of your post to look as though it has been crossed out?

2. Put <*strike> at the beginning of the text and <*/strike> at the end of the text.

2a. Leave out the asterisks.

You can combine codes to achieve multiple effects.

The message above was written as follows:

<*marquee> Walking and <*strike>rubbing your tummy<*/strike> chewing gum at the same time.<*/marquee>

The asterisks were left out, of course.
